Nouns

In spanish, the nouns are masculine or femenine. The ways to distinguish between them are as follows.

Masculine Nouns

When do we use it?
Example
Noun ends with “o”
El candado 
Noun ends with “n”

Noun ends with “r”

Noun ends with “l”

Feminine Nouns

Plural Forms

Nouns that end with a vowel

If the noun ends with a,e,i,o,u, then just add "s".

Examples:
El libro - Los libros
The books - The books

La niña - Las niñas
The girl - The girls

Nouns that end with a consonant

If the noun ends with consonants (l,n,r) then just add "es".

Examples:
El color - Los colores
The color - The colors

La canción - Las canciones
The song - The songs
